TB500
TB-500 is a synthetic peptide modeled on thymosin beta-4, a naturally occurring peptide involved in
intracellular actin dynamics and cytoskeletal organisation. In research settings, thymosin beta-4 derivatives are
used to study cell motility, tissue remodelling signals, and the molecular events that coordinate structural
recovery after stress.
Experimental work frequently evaluates TB-500 in models that track cellular migration, angiogenic signalling,
and modulation of inflammatory mediators. Because cytoskeletal organisation influences processes such as
wound closure and extracellular matrix remodelling, TB-500 is often discussed as a tool peptide for probing
repair-associated pathways at the cellular and tissue level.
